Studies on Asymmetric Multicomponent Reactions Based onChiral tert-sulfinyliminesThe asymmetric synthesis of a-amino acid derivatives based on chiral tert-sulfi-nylimines have been studied for finding out a facile, effective way to prepare a-amino acid.PART III. Studies on Ugi Three-Component Reactions Based on Isocyan-othioacetamidesA new kind of functionalized isocyanothioacetamides have been prepared and their applications in multicomponent reactions have been studied.PART IV. Synthesis of Novel Biphenyltetrazole Derivatives Bearing Isox-azole-Substituted 1,2,4-Triazole MoietySeveral new 5-[4'-(5-isoxazol-4-aryl-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl-sulfanylmethyl)-biphenyl-2-yl]-tetra-zoles derivatives have been synthesized. The structures of these new compounds were confirmed by elemental analyses and spectral data.
