| Land desertification is becoming a worldwide environmental problem in recent years, which greatly restricts the sustainable development of the economy of our country. The execution of zoology project of hurricane- prevention and sand-fixing is an effective approach to restrain desertification process, guarantee the sustainable development of oasis and the convenience of railway and highroad.In this paper, the integrated field sand-fixing experiments of LZU series sand-fixing materials were carried in Shapotou, according to their properties of previous indoor experiments and the field experiments in Dunhuang. The results indicate that LZU sand-fixing materials have excellent sand-fixing capability and suitability for the growth of plant. With the integrated sand-fixing technology of "chemistry- biology" or "chemistry-biology- engineering", the time of sand-fixing was shortened, the sand-fixing effect of chemistry sand-fixing materials and the survival probability of plant in biology sand-fixing technology were enhanced, the disadvantages of single chemistry, biology or engineering sand-fixing technology were offset, and the high efficiency of sand-fixing were achieved.For reducing the transport cost of LZU sand-fixing materials, the modified POLYMER were prepared. The indoor properties such as intension, tolerance, water-resistant, excellent capability of sand-fixing and suitability for the plant growth indicate that these sand-fixing materials are convenient for use in field experiment. |
