The rapid development of rubber industry brings opportunities and challenge to rubber machine industry. The servo and proportional valve controller is the key part of internal rubber mixer, which can complete the close-loop control and open-loop control of hydraulic cylinder. The controller's control accuracy decides the quality of rubber. In order to meet such kind of demand, this paper expatiates on basic theories and knowledge in designing a set of servo and proportional valve controller for internal rubber mixer. And the relating key technology is also given in details in this paper.The MCU MSP430F167 is used as a core component in this system. With the help of software programmed in C430 language, the system drives servo and proportional valve to execute relevant work after disposing and calculating each electric signal, and the controller becomes an open-loop or close-loop system.The measures of separated power, photo isolate for input/output and shielded crust make the system more strong in reliabilities. The controller software system is based on time-triggered embedded structure. All the tasks can be requested by a program called "co-operative".This program structure makes the system work predicablly and more safely. Research on parameter changing of the system is also discussed in this paper. PC program sends command signal to the controller. At the same time, it receives and displays the working status signal from the controller. So parameter changing of the system becomes more convenient. The PC program of data collecting is programmed by Visual Basic language.The debugging and running of the system indicate that the whole design is feasible and reliable, and the presumed functions have been implemented successfully.
