Research And Design Of Monitoring And Control System Of Beer Fermentation Based On CAN Bus

Fermentation process, which directly affects the quality and quantity of beer production,is a vital phase during the beer production process. Nowadays the traditional production or controll mode can't support the current production scale and can not satisfy requirements of extending production any longer .Therefore advanced industrial controll systems are being adopted so as to improve the quality of the beer and increase the quantity and reduce the cost. CAN bus provides a new solution to reliable data communication of industrial controll system for its simple constucture and flexible communication method and advanced function of error detection and its nondestructive arbitration technology based on priority .The monitoring and controll system equipment can be linked with the CAN bus well. Hence the control system of beer fermentation based on CAN bus is designed according to current equipment and requirement of corporations producing beer . The task of the whole design is as follows: Firstly, considering the advantages and disadvantages of the process control available of beer fermentation ,the PC and network techonology are used to design the general structure of control system of beer fermentation,according to the condition of beer fermentation and the needs of management. Secondly,analyzing the process of beer fermentation and the controll requirements, the hardware and software of intelligent node are designed . Intelligent node is able to meet the needs of process parameter with its functions of data collection ,processing,display, cotroll and communication which bases on CAN bus. Thirdly, the hardware and software of intelligent adapter which performs the protocol conversion between the field node and the PC are designed on the base of PC and the network techonology. Fourthly, in order to manage more easily, mornitoring software running on PC is designed , which consists of excellent operating interface and function of database management , and so on. Being considered one of the most promising field bus, CAN bus becomes more and more popular in the industry with its particular thoughtway of design ,excellent function and high reliability. Monitoring and control system of beer fermentation based on CAN bus can not only realize outstanding controll effect but also has advantages of simple ,reliable,flexible and cheap for its functions.The system is of vital importance because it can fullfil the corporations' requirements under the conditions today,especially for those mid-scale and samll companies.
