It is a new topic that rule of ground movement in deep dip angle coal seam mining, the coal seam angle is one of important factor of deciding the rule of ground movement , the overlying rock of steep coal seam mining have different homogeneousness in horizontal orientation. It's complexity make the research of this kind of problem process is very inadequate. Many phenomenon due to deep dip angle coal seam mining are still explained very well. There are a lot of deep dip angle coal seam mining district in China, the problem of miming subsidence is very general, so the research is of theory mining and practical value. On the foundation of hongling mining practice, according to the complex mining and geological conditions of deep excavation in hongling mine, numerical simulation is carried out for studying on the rule of strata movement and surface subsidence due to coal extraction in hongling mining district. The results are of tutorial impact for practical mining and governing of subsidence hazards.
