The machining accuracy is one of the most important performance indexes for machine tools. This paper lays the strong emphases on the researches of the error analyzing, precision modeling and the studying of the error identifying, machining accuracy predicting, software error compensating and so on. With the precision model of the multi-axis CNC machine tools, their errors transferability rule from the parts to the machined work pieces was analyzed, their machining accuracy was predicted and their errors were compensated based on software to increase their machining accuracy.The kernels of multi-body system (MBS) theories are that the number arrays of low-order body used to describe the topological structures which are taken to generalize and refine MBS, and the characteristic matrixes are employed to represent the relative positions and gestures between any two bodies in MBS. These kernels of the MBS have been detailed. Introduce the foundational categories of the parallel machine tools, and analyzed the reasons of each and the methods to defend. And used MBS in the error modeling of Hybrid machine tool.Correctly identifying the geometric error parameters is one of the most important preconditions for error compensation. So Incorporating the six-axis 6PM2 hybrid milling CNC machine tool, the theories and methods are researched to identifying the errors in XY plane with the measuring results by Renishaw Laser and to analyzed the motion error caused by the rotary with Z in the rotary worktable. For the 3-RPS parallel mechanism, the method to measure its gestures and kinetic calibration are researched.In the end of the paper a comparison had proved the feasibility and practicality of the method to inspect the rotary table's precision with dynamic angle-inspection instrument accorded with the Renishaw Laser and RX10. And the machining trail described the processing of error Compensation, which has be improved effective.
