With the era of new RFG coming, the world has improved the requirement of the quality of gasoline widely. Catalytic reforming which material is naphtha is an important way to produce high RON gasoline composition and aroma, and is one of the important technics of oil refining factories and petrochemical companies in the world. Gasoline produced by Jinxi Petrochemical Companies is mainly catalytic cracking gasoline constitute, the content of olefin and sulfur is relatively high. The primary problem companies which produced cleaning gasoline facing is reducing the content of olefin and sulfur and keeping higher RON, and CCR plays an important action in resolving the conflict. The third generation low pressure (0.35MPa) Platforming technology of UOP which is the highest level of CCR technology of the world now is adopted in the reaction section of the 600,000 tons CCR Unit by Jinxi Petrochemical Companies. The unit has started to run successfully in July 2002, and the shorted running time record of domestic congener unit has been created. However, owing to lack of feedstock, the unit often runs with low capacity, energy consume is high, economy benefit is low, production is used as adjustive content to improve RON of gasoline. Personnel of engineering and technology have adopted many methods to perfect the unit operation which base on energy consumption reducing and economy benefit increasing. This paper has described the optimum method of the unit in detail. Through careful analysis on the operation conditions of last year, we found out the optimum method for the unit so as to decrease the energy consumption and improve the yield. A high RON gasoline (sold to Beijing) can be produced with the most suitable reaction parameters of 42t/h, 485℃ and 0.24MPa. Besides, the No. 110 solvent oil and high grade LPG can also be produced by enlarging the fraction range of the platforming feeds. Meanwhile, the energy consumption is 92KgEO/t (lower than the design value of 105KgEO/t), and the hydrogen purity is 92% (higher than the design value of 88%) and the yield is 86%. The unit has changed from energy consumption to energy economy, and has finished the standard requirement of CNPC in 2003.
