As associated gas of petroleum was utilized in our country, its process technologyis improved continuously. Among all technologies applied, the technology ofLight-hydrocarbon reclamation plays a very important part in associated gasreclamation of oil field. Before 1980s, all light-hydrocarbon reclamation units wereimported. From 1980s, designing institutes of oil field in our country began to designthese units by themselves. By now, all these units are homemade. But most of presentunits are highly energy and investment consumed. It is urgent to realize the optimizeddesign of the light-hydrocarbon reclamation.This paper intends to design the light-hydrocarbon reclamation plant of oil & gasprocessing center station of Changqing Xifeng oil field, introducing the equipmentsand process of optimizing. Optimized design of techniques, parameters and selectionof main equipments of each stage which includes pretreatment of natural gas,compressing system, dehydration, refrigeration, fractionation, etc were emphasized.Optimized process design was introduced in the second chapter in which all processeswere specifically discussed, compared and simulated, and optimized designconclusions were given. Optimized design of equipments was introduced in the thirdchapter, including compressors, separators, evaporators, towers, coolers, exchangersand so on, among which compressors were optimized by selection, but otherequipments could be optimized only by calculation and comparison of their structure.Optimized design remarkably reduced investment and operating cost.Software HYSYS of HYPROTECH Company of Canada was adopted forcalculation and simulation. Main result was list out. In order to guide design in thefuture, the structured form of some main equipment was compared, selected andoptimized.
