Wool is keratin protein which contains many kinds of amino acids. It play a great role in agriculture, textile industry, cosmetic field and so on. Natural fibers and its production, recycling textile production are paid more attention by people today because natural and green sense is required everywhere nowadays. Wool and silk used for a long time having good properties such as good water absorbance, warm-keeping is a main textile material. What't more, it is kind to human's skin. So how to make full use of natural protein fiber's excellent properties to make it serve human's life has become a heat study. With the quick development of modern science and technology, natural amino acid is used and demanded widely. But for the limitation of natural resource, reused production is needed to develop quickly. There is a rich wool resource in China, but the technology of wool quality control, raise management and other relative technology is not very well developed. So there is much short and thick wool abandoned. Furthermore, wool contains many keratin with S-S bonds which makes wool difficult to clear up in nature. Then, it would be a waste of resource and also it would pollute surrounding. Therefore the study of recycle of wasted wool from the angle of protecting environment, continued economic development and lowering price to make full use of limited natural resource is important. The study will bring out tremendous social and economic profit. Hence the importance of this study is distinct.The key aim of this thesis is to find an agent which can break the effect of macromolecular in wool especially the bonds of hydrogen, disulfide and at the same can't damage the main chain of protein to solve wool;to get wool powder and analyze and discuss the process of solving wool in theory;to testing several properties of the result powder and understand the inner structure and outer appearance.The main content of this thesis is as following:(D After investigation the reaction of acid, alkali, salt, oxidant and reducing agent, inorganic solvent has been chosen because it not only break hydrogen bonds and disulphide bonds but also can keep the main large molecule chain integrality. Meanwhile, the high dissolving yield can be achieved.(2) After consideration of economy of energy and resolving speed, optimized method is used in experiments and the best process condition is gotten at last.(3) FTIR technology is applied on wool and the result powder for comparing. Difference of them in component and structure is gotten.(D Wool powder at the condition of normal temperature is observed by SEM for its appearance. Results are that powder of lOum can be gotten but it is not very uniform. ? Wool powder and pure chemical fabric is blended by the way of electrostatic flocking to improve the shortcoming of pure chemical fiber fabric. And several properties testing are done.
