Huan127 block of LiaoHe oilfield is a typical heavy oil reservoir which is high densitied and viscosity Inthis paper, Huan127 block is selected as a researching aim. Beginning from shortages of Huan127 blockwhich are low production ability , exploitation are effected because formation water invaded seriously, wellsituation and kinds of measure are badly year and year, and Rule of remaining oil distribution remain notclarity for complicated structure, applying modern reservoir geologic, well logging, well test, production datato describe reservoir and remaining oil distribution, basing on these works, mainly adjustable methods aredeveloped.A new method was be used in this paper that log interpretation method and numerical simulation methodwas combined to research remaining oil distribution and obtained better effect.Aimed at characteristic of heavy oil reservoir, we choose CMG software for numetrial simulation.Thesoftware can deal with welll in corner or on edge, which ensure choice of simulation area and handling ofedge.Based on production characteristic in heavy oil reservoir, a new adjustable way was developed first timewhich use suppositional well in model to settle problem that production and injection in same well effectivlly.Method that careful research in typcal well group and synthetical research in full area was used inremaining oil distribution research. In these works, typcal well group in east and west was be choosen forremaining oil distribution particular research, then, unitted as well group expand to full area. A method used tovalue remaining oil distribution classified from layer to series of strata was introduced, which deepenunderstandability of remaining oil distribution and assured correctness of research..
