The Maling Oilfield, located in the south of Ordos Basin, is the one of the typical low-permeability reservoirs. The reservoirs have entered the mid-and late since the eaely 70s. It is also difficult to be analyzed and developed with characteristic challenges, including long development period, mid to high water content stage, low recovery percent, low well spacing density and indefinite distribution of remaining oil. Therefore, the fine reservoir description and residual oil distribution analysis are badly in need of development. The study force on the Yan 8-Yan 10 formation in the area of Li 14-Li 23 which located in the eastern part of the Maling Oilfield. Based on the research of the characteristics of sedimentation and heterogeneity for the formation, the reservoir is divided into different flow units. The three-dimension geological model, including flow units, reservoir porosity, permeability and oil saturation, is established according to the geology of the distribution of plane. Finally, the characteristics of the reserve classification and distribution of remaining oil are predicted by fine reservoir numerical simulation. The research concludes six main controlling factors effecting on the remaining oil, including construction, well pattern, edge-bottom water, sedimentary phase, flow unit and intercalations. Meanwhile, the study make a summing up of five kinds of distribution model such as the roof of oil, lobate remaining oil, isolated island-liked remaining oil, flake remaining oil and blocky remaining oil combining the description of fine reservoir. It selects two potential regions and provides the related proposal and suggestion to the development and adjustment direction of the oilfield. It is also reliable geological support for the stability of the reservoir. |
