In recent years, with the gradual enhancement of environmental protection consciousness, the treatment technology and equipment of municipal sewage get fast development. To deal with the mud that the city sewage disposal course produces further, so as not to cause secondary pollution is countries all over the world sewage disposal one important link of project, the development of the equipment of the mud deal therefore get the attention of various countries.The vacuum belt filter press is perfect equipment used in dewatering the sludge. With the advantage of simple structure, convenient operation, low cost of energy, low noise, big treatment and continuous operation, it has been developing very quickly. It is applied to the field of food, chemistry, paper making and sludge dewatering. Its advantages in the environmental protection have been realized, and so it has a bright future. Its main principle is dewatering by use of chemical treatment, gravity dewatering, vacuum dehydration and mechanical extrusion.This thesis makes systematic detailed analysis and research about several piece relevant technology of the vacuum belt filter press's design:1. Firstly do some analysis and research on the filtered theory, the squeezing theory and the vacuum filtration technology and the belt type squeeze technology, has carried on the analysis, then do some analysis and research to the vacuum dehydration equipment and the squeezing dehydration equipment's structure and the dehydrated effect, discovered essential link which affects these two kinds of equipment's dehydration effect.2. In view of the correlation factor which influence the dehydrated effect of the vacuum belt press, including the sludge nature, the flocculation effect, the vacuum dehydration effect, filters the belt strain size, the belt running rate, the choice of the belt and the flushing condition, the squeezing area structural design and so on, we made the detailed analysis and the research separately and produced the correlation suggestion.3. Research has been discussed on the feasibility and concrete implementing scheme of the PLC which used on the controls of the vacuum belt filter press.4. The traditional structural design, mostly uses the empirical design method,lacks of concrete analysis on the squeeze area, cannot achieve the anticipated effect. Therefore, in the present paper we use the modern design method to make an optimized design of dehydration roller system, based on making the analysis to the existing type, inferred the best squeezing time as well as reasonable thickness of the strain cake according to the new model, also give out the reasonable the horn range and the speed of the filter belt, making foundations for the further research.
