RTM process is suitable for batch production of integral structures. The RTM process is also considered the main technical solution of cost effective and affordable composite technologies. But the process has the more complicated flow and wetting mechanisms than that of traditional composite manufacture methods. It is invisible to see the information, so it is nessesary to carry on on-line monitoring and to get the reaction information in the mould and it makes guidance signification to optimize prosess.According to the demand of RTM technology development in this paper, the RTM development situation makes simple summary. According to domestic and international research of the RTM development, the flowing and curing process of resin has carried out on-line monitoring in RTM prosess. It is studied mainly that the viscosity characteristics of unsaturated polyester changes with the temperature parameters, and processes and materials parameters of the impact on the processes of molding. And the flow of resin in the mold is simulated. In the condition of different temperatures and fabric forms and contents of fieber in the curing course, it is studied that the changement of temperatures, the changement of ionic conductivity under different temperatures, the effect of fiber content on ionic conductivity, the effect of fiber fabric form on ionic conductivity.It is experimentally found that the technical parameters have a great impact on the flow of resin in the mold and they are interactive. When low-pressrue, the flow of fibre beam advances obviously because the capillary force of fibre beam is larger. By software analysis it may realize simulation in the flow process and optimization of RTM process, and it is unanimous with the actual process. Temperature has a great impact on the curing reaction of resin, higher temperature quickens reaction process and ionic conductivity changes rapidly. Curing reaction of higher fiber content is rapid and ionic conductivity changes greatly, and the permittivity of composite is higher. Different fiber has different permittivity.The RTM molding process is systemly carried on by on-line monitoring in this peper. And the research outcome is significative to improve the process reliability and to breach the technical difficulties and key achievement of RTM process, to realize the process optimization, to provide practice guidance for the process of advanced composite materials of high-performance, low-cost, Smart-structural integration.
