Turbine blades are core components in turbine, which play important rolesin energy transformation, called the "heart" of turbine. The quality of blades aredirectly related to the work efficiency of turbine. Therefore,to improve thedesign and manufacture level is a important thing. According to the needs offactory, applying parametric method, special development of CAD for the bladeforging die is systematically studied on the basis of UG(NX) in this thesis aftersumming up the expertise of factory. The main content is as below:The methods of definition the equilibrium angle in die forging design havebeen analyzed. Four sorts of airfoil section trimming methods of precision andaverage forging have been summed up on the basis of factory. The blade forgepiece 3-d sculpting is also been studied.According to the key difficult, section curve trimming, in forging design, aprocedure was developed adopting developing language -UG Open/GRIP. Thisprocedure can reduce the blade forging design period and bring convenience tothe user.Using UG as a flatroof, adopting developing language -UG Open/GRIPand the alternating method, the automatic reading and outputting procedure ofthe cure string data points has been developed.Assuming the deformation of blade in forging was a 3-d non-steadyplastical deformation problem,FEM simulation was performed usingcommercially available FEM software package-DEFORM-3D.The metal flowof the blade collectivity and every classical sections have been studied. Analysisof stress and strain in different classical sections in blade forming wasperformed and the forming rule was obtained. The blade forging deformationrule has been summarized.
