Following the booming development of new science and technology revolution in world, the high performance and diversity materials have been required extensive and urgent. In order to improve the characterization of poly(ether keonte)s and poly(ether sulfone)s further, structures are changed without reducing their original performance. Lateral functional is introduced to the structure to ruin the crystallized high tap-density. Then the thermal behavior and dissolution properties are improved. Through the block copolymerization, the processing and flow properties of this kind of resins are improved. The aim of the dissertation is from the design of molecular structure to synthesize new poly (ether sulfone)s containing 4-(4-hydroxylphenyl)-phthalazin-1-one(DHPZ) with different chemical environment and linking position. The PES-PPES and PEES-PPES block copolymers are synthesized by hydroxylterminated oligomers and the chloroterminated oligomers through the nucleophilic displacement condensation reaction. It is to be used several research methods to investigate the thermal behavior and dissolution property. The relationship between microstructures and macroproperties are studied systematically, which is foundations in industrialization and application. A new poly (ether ketone)s containing DHPZ are synthesized by a monomer with biphenyl. The copolymers were characterized by IR, 1H-NMR, DSC, TGA, X-WAXD,etc.The results show that poly (ether sulfone)s are amorphous polymers which have high glass transition temperature and good thermal stability. And they are soluble in most common organic solvents. The thermal stability of the new PPEEKDK is improved by introducing biphenyl. They are changed from crystalline polymer to amorphous polymer with increasing of the content of the DHPZ. The dissolution property is improved. Besides H2SO4, they can be partly dissolved in CHCl3 and NB, etc.
