In this article we analysis and study the grinding principle of raw mill system(tube mill, vertical mill, and roller mill), and indicate the advantage of final grinding system of large-type roller press, and structure of roller press, roller face type, control method of hydraulic system. Problems in the design, installation and commissioning of demestic roller press also are indicated and some solution are also given in this article. It proves that final grinding process system of roller press have great usage future.The study of roller mill and grinding principle makes clear that tube mill working principle is single grain crushing, roller press system working princicple is high pressure material crushing. High pressure crushing between materials is the reason of higher product, lower energy consumption, and lower noise.Study of roller press structure indicates that the core is roller group structure, bearing type is guarantee, the control method of hydraulic system is key. In order to ensure different material requirements, individuation roller face configuration will be required. Large type bearing and hydraulic cylinder is the bottleneck of local equipment manufacture, so it is the key to reduce system hydraulic pressure.We found in the installation and commissioning process that in the local design they choose constant clearence control methods to control clearence between two rollers. When feeding material quantity changes or some hardness material pass by, hydraulic system might be fluctuating and roller face might be damaged, this area is also the most place easy to be damaged. In the process of commissioning we change the constant clearance system to constant pressure system.Upon careful investigation and by considering experience suggest a new process flow: most majority of the materials will be ground by roller. After leaving the roller thematerials are fed to a classifier . Where the coarse granules are separated from gas stream then return into the roller, meantime the finer particles are delivered to the tube mill. In an attempt to combine the advantages of roller and tube mill of their own. In this way working stability of roller press could be significantly improved and energy consumption of system will be decreased, The raw material grinding system will be better in performance than grinding method to others.
