Water is the source of our life, whereas the 2nd Songhua River isthe mother of Songyuan city. The people' lives and the industrydevelopment of this city are all depending on the the 2nd Songhua River.As the base of this city, petroleum and agriculture livestock productmachining, and the three lead new industries, bio-chemistry pharmacy,architecture materials and commerce, business and touring and thecharacteristic of this city , the 2nd Songhua River is crucial to theeconomy and continuous development of Songyuan city.With the town building along the river and rapid development of thissociety these years, a large mount of contaminated water of industryand life is generated and these contaminated water was drained to theriver directly without disposal in effect. This is the key reason ofthe river deterioration, and this also threatens to people' lifequality improvement, continuous development of economy and environmentprotection. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out gross control,layout researching of water and strengthening management and protectionof water resource. The science grounds to protect and utilize waterresource effectively are sophistic, system and compositive analysis ofwater quality to some region and confirmation the maximum contaminationdrainage. The main purpose of this paper is to analyses waterenvironment status quo and research the change tread of water quality,to analyses origin and drainage of contamination generally, to confirmmain contamination resource and contamination, then to make a forecast.On the basis of above analysis and research, it brings prevention andcure measures according to the details about the river contaminationcase through making a further research to the water capacity and theresults as follows:1,The water quality of 2nd Songhua River in Songyuan city is the â…¢class, some part of the river is â…£ class. According to linear treadanalysis of water quality historic documents, the water quality isbecoming worse in these ten years.2,The drainage amount of industry and life waste water of 2nd SonghuaRiver in Songyuan city as follows:Industry contamination resource:The drainage amount of waste water: 4.84 million ton /yearThe drainage amount of CODcr: 584 ton /yearLife contamination resource:The drainage amount of waste water: 15.84 million ton /yearThe drainage amount of CODcr: 9877 ton /yearAgriculture contamination resource:The drainage amount of CODcr: 1100 ton /yearFrom above data, we can know the life contamination is the maincontamination resource and its CODcr contains 85.43%of all.3,It forecasts short, middle and long terms the resource of lifecontamination of 2nd Songhua River in Songyuan city according to societyeconomy development rule, the results as follows:The waste water amount is 21.9 million ton and drainage amount of CODcris 13665 ton/year in 2006.The waste water amount is 32.12 million ton and drainage amount of CODcris 20042.9 ton/year in 2010.4,Through researching CODcr to protect the 2nd Songhua River, wecalculated that the CODcr amount in 2nd Songhua River is 62573.1ton/year on the condition of meeting 90% average dried up flow, theallowable drainage amount of COD is 31286.55 ton/year on the conditionof 50% preserved water capacity and the remains of water capacity is19725.55 ton/year.
