Phthalocyanine (Pc) is a 18-Ï€electrons conjugated system in a macrocycle and intenseabsorption spectrum in visible region display peculiar photoelectrical, thermal and magneticcharacters. It is of particular interest both for versatile basic and applied researches. Pcs arendustrially important class of compounds, the areas of current interest are includeapplications in catalysis, thermal stability batteries, chemical sensors, electrochromism, liquidcrystals, photodynamic reagents for cancer therapy and other medical applications, and etc. In the paper, the production, development and progress of Pc Chemisity is resited. 4-nitro-1,2-dicyanobenzene of preceding compounds of substituted phthalocya-ninewere synthesized through phthalic anhydride and ten 2,9,16,23-tetra-amino-phthalocyanine(II)were synthesized through it, from which eighteen Schiff based pcs were synthesized. The structures of these pcs were token by elemental analysis, IR, UV-vis and MSmethods;the results of UV is first showen:(1) Along with the number of d electrons in a metalon , red shift was showed in Q absorption band of phthalocyanine, the sequence wasFe2+12, it exists as another fluorescence species witha maximum emission wavelength at 413nm.
