Studies On The Chemical Constituents Of Lxeris Sonchifoia Hance

Ixeris sonchifoia Hance is a genus of Composotae family plantsand broadly used in clinited cure. There is more than 50 kinds ofplants in the ixeris genus family all over the world. Among thoseplants ,about 20 kinds distributed in neimeng ,northeast and northof China commonly found in dry place . About 9 kinds of them havemedical used. It is recorded in the book named Chinese folkmedicine in neimeng province that it is bitter and pungent, used asa folk medicine in invigorating circulation of blood, normalizingmenstruation and eliminating blood stasis to relieve pain in China。The scientists in China and south Korea have got several kindsof compound in this plant since the research of Ixeris sonchifoiaHance on pharmacological activities and used in clinic began in1981.So in the present work, we gave further research on the basicof reviewing progress on studies of chemical components and theirbiological activities.In the present thesis, we extracted and isolated the chemicalcomponents from the water extract of Ixeris sonchifoia Hance usingSilica gel column , ODS column, porous resin ( D101 ) and HPLCetc. Totally ten compounds were obtained. We primarily identifiedthe structure of 8 compounds of them according to the IR, ¹H-NMR ,¹³C-NMR, ¹H-¹H COPY, HSQC and HMBC datas.The compounds are identified that : Sonchifolonin B(â…  );Oleanic acid 3-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl (1→3) β-D-glucopyranosyl (1→3)-α-L-arabinofuranoside(â…¡);Oleanic acid 3-O-α-L-rhamno--side (1→2) -β-D-arabinofuranoside(â…¢ );echinocysticacid 3-O-β-D-Glu-copyranosyl-(1→3)-β-D-Glucopyranosyl-(1→3)-[β-D-Glucopy--ranosyl-(1→2)]-arabinopyranoside(â…£ );luteolin(â…¤ );luteolin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(â…¥ );3-hydroxy-1(10),3-guaiadiene-12,6-o1ide-2-one(â…¦ );3-hydroxyl-1(10), 4-germacradiene-12, 6-olid(â…§ ).Of all the compounds, new compound â…  and compound â…¡ areproved through the Scifinder search, compound â…¢ was the firstisolated form the Ixeris genus.In our research,we finally got the content of flavone andsaponin in Ixeris sonchifoia Hance.They are: content of flavone39% and content of saponin 6%.Generally speaking ,the primarycomponent of the plant is flavone. Recent research show thatsaponins in the plant also have been proved has remarkablebiological activities .So we also got the content of both flavone andsaponin in Ixeris sonchifoia Hance in our research in order to givea basic data for the further research of Ixeris sonchifoia Hance.
