Landfill leachate contains a variety of pollutants such as organic matter, ammonia, heavy metals, which are high in concentration and often change with time, weather etc.. These lead to the difficulty in treating leachate from landfill and pose adverse impact on environment.This study was carried out to investigate the feasibility of integrated biological and physic-chemical treatment technologies in treating leachate from landfill site of Liulitun in Beijing. The technologies are "PAC-SBR" process was designed as the main treatment technology, "combined air-stripping and coagulation" process was studied as the pre-treatment step, and "combined coagulation and PAC adsorption" process was operated as the post-treatment step.Experiment find the optimal process condition and parameters, moreover, the results showed that the combination of "air-stripping and coagulation " +...
