Ultraviolet (UV) cured coatings have made large growth and extensive application, because of performance environmental protection. Dentritic polymers have attracted particular interests and industries due to their unique structural characters and properties during past twenty years, and were very activities in synthesis and application polymer. Due to their three dimensions and high order, dendritic polymers have shown their lower melting viscosity, better miscibility property and a larger number of end-groups which is easily modified. The present thesis was aimed on the synthesis of new kinds of dendritic polymers and the modification for using as UV curable oligomers.(1) Synthesis and UV curing behaviors of (Meth) acrylated DendriticThe 0.5 G and 1.5 G poly (amido-amine) (PAMAM) were synthesized respectively by Micheal addition and amidation between ethylenediamine and methyl acrylate. The product of dendritic polyamine with hydroxyl end-groups was characterized by FT-IR and 1H NMR.Two kinds of UV curable (Meth) acrylated poliamine denteitic with the same backbone structure but different generation were synthesized based on dendritic polyamine, further modifying with Tris (hydroxymethyl) amino methane and Glycidyl methaoylate.(2) Synthesis and their properties of UV curable dendritic poly (urethane- acrylate)The UV curable dendritc poly (urethane-acrylate) was synthesized base on (Meth) acrylated polyamine denteitic by modifying withβ-hydrxyehyl acrylate and 2, 4-toluiden diisocyanate(TDI). The effect of temperature and co-monomer content to the viscosity of dendritic poly (urethane-acrylate) were measured by NDJ-8S spinning viscometer. Experimental results have shown that the poly (urethane-acrylate) have lower viscosity, which reduced greatly with co-monomer addition and the temperature raise. The effect of the photo-initiator, the content of photo-initiator, the content of co-monomer and the structure of oligomers to the curing speed were discussed. Results showed that this dendrimer has some superior properties and can be used for UV curing coating. (3) The properties of dual-curable oligomersEffect of ultraviolet and heat dual curing on properties of coatings was studied. The experimental show that dual curing of ultraviolet and heat can improve properties of UV coating, especially enhance the hardness and flexibility.
