HBEP has low viscosity, high solubility, adhesion and high reaction activity because of its unique core structure and a large number of terminated epoxy group, particularly it's suitable for photosensitive resin oligomer. In this paper, HBEP has been synthesized by proton transfer polymerization, the structure, solubility, photophysical properties and modification of HBEP have been studyed.Radical-cation hybrid ultraviolet(UV) curing will increase the polymerization rate, decrease the oxygen inhibition effect, and enhance the mechanical performance of cured film owing to the existing of double bonds and epoxy groups. In this paper, HBEA has been synthesized by HBEP which has been modificated by acrylic acid, has both of the double bond and the epoxy group by controlling the rate of charge. During the synthesis process, the acid value of reaction system has been measured to monitor the reaction process. And the reaction conditions have been optimized, the photophysical properties, thermal properties and UV curing performance of HBEA have been evaluated. The results show that the optimum conditions of the synthesis of HBEA: the reaction temperature is 100 ?, the amount of catalyst is 0.6 %, significant factor influencing of synthesis is reaction temperature. UV curing rate of HBEA is rapid, and the hybrid cured film has good mechanical properties.UV curing product of traditional epoxy acrylate has good mechanical and electrical performance, it has various insufficients in the application. In this paper, HBEA has been modified by polyurethane prepolymer to improve abradability and thermal performance of the cured film by introducing the hydrogen bonding and increasing crosslinking density. In this part, the structure, molecular weight and its distribution, photophysical properties, and the UV curing performance of the final product(TMHBEA) have been studied. The results show that the solubility of TMHBEA decrease, the molecular weight is 9000 and the distribution is narrow. Hybrid cured film of TMHBEA has better hardness, anti-wear behavior and thermal property than HBEA under the same condition.
