With the development of the national economy,rock slope stability problem appears more and more in coal mining, transportation, water and national defenses project, so it is important to study it, but its complexity,fuzziness,incompletion and uncertainty brings infinite difficulty to the analyses. Factors that influence slope stability are anfractuous, and they are not linear but nonlinear, so it is hard to express it in accurate mathematical expression; while artificial neural network technology is fuzzy theory arithmetic which has strong nonlinear disposal processing, so using it in slope stability analyses is very significant.This paper summarizes analyses method of slope stability,basic principle of artificial neural network technology and mechanism of rock slope stability failure, base on them, by choosing radial basis function network and using Matlab neural network toolbox, establishing rock slope stability analyzing model. Experiments indicate this model has good memory and popularization, using the model to carry sensitivity analyzing on slope stability influence factors, the results analyzed by this model is same to other methods. This paper advances a new method in analyzing rock slope stability.
