Three new chromophores have been synthesized by Vilsmier, Wittig ,Ullmannand and Heck reaction: 4-(Bis-{4-[2-(4-diphenylamino-phenyl)-vinyl]-phenyl}-amino)-vinyl-benzene(compo-und 4),2,8-Bis(4-(bis(4-bromophenyl)amino)-3-bromocinnamene)-Dibenzotfiophene(ST(EBr)-G2) and1,4-Bis(4-(bis(4-bromophenyl)amino)-3-bromocinnamene)-Naphthalene(NT(EBr)-G2). To comparatively investigate in photoluminescence properties and two-photon fluorescence of these three compounds in different solvents and concentrations, absorption spectra, fluorescence spectra on one-photon-/two-photon-excitation in solution or in film were examined. The result have shown:(1) the increase of molecular branch number plays a major role in enhancement the molecular nonlinear absorption. multibranched cheomophores exhibit much larger TPA cross-sections.(2) Multibranched molecular plane play a important role to TPA properties. the more better with multibranched molecular plane, the more larger with TPA cross-sections.(3) Multibranched molecular bridge affect TPA properties. To comparatively investigate in electroluminescent properties of multi-branched compound 4, we found that compound 4 possess a good fluorescence material's properties, which is a blue material with good future.
