Jiang Nan Chun (JNC) is a kind of functional and composite beverage, which was made of royal jelly(RJ), bee pollen(P), bee honey(H) and water. Firstly, I had confirmed the accurate dosage of them to mice in order to take their safety as food into experiment. The time of swimming, the time of climbing pole, lactic acid of blood, blood serum urea nitrogen, lactic acid dehydrogenation enzyme and glycogen of liver were investigated to appraise anti-fatigue. Secondly, The experiments of mice turning back reflection and the determination of alcohol concentration in mice blood showed that JNC drink so well on antialcoholism.1. Safety as food experiments: Acute toxin experiments, four dosage were selected: 10.0g/kg, 21.5g/kg, 46.4g/kg and 100g/kg, giving them to mice within 24 hour, 12 hours of feeding prohibition of them before experiments. The reaction and the death information of the mice were observed .The results showed that JNC had no acute negative effect to mice, only when the dosage is as high as 100g/kg. All these demonstrated that JNC was safe enough as nourishments.2. The time of swimming and the time of climbing pole were investigated to appraise anti-fatigue. Compared with the control group, the low dosage such as 5.0g/kg has significant anti-fatigue function, and the middle and high dosage have very significant anti-fatigue function on mice. The selected middle, high dosage is: 10.0g/kg, 20.0g/kg, 30.0g/kg, 40.0g/kg. The results of experiments showed JNC was good at anti-fatigue.3. Lactic acid of blood, blood serum urea nitrogen, lactic acid dehydrogenation enzyme and glycogen of liver were investigated to appraise anti-fatigue. The results show JNC can significantly decrease production of serum lactic acid and serum urea, and significantly increase lactic acid dehydrogenation enzyme and glycogen of liver. From these observations it was concluded JNC had a significant effect on raising sporting endurance and delaying fatigue in mice.4. The experiments of mice turning back reflection and the determination of alcohol concentration in mice blood showed that JNC so well on antialcoholism that could sharply decrease the alcohol level in mice blood.
