Titanium alloys are widely used in the fields of aerospace, aviation and medicine and so on, due to its low density, high specific strength, and high specific rigidity and corrosion resistance. Titanium alloys structural parts usually have complicated shapes with thin wall-section; vacuum centrifugal casting techniques are needed to make them, in order to enhance the mold filling abilities of the titanium alloy melts. However, the mold filling behavior of liquid metal under the centrifugal force are much more complicated, also difficult to mensurate under the experimentation. Therefore, the difficulties for the technological designs and implementation of centrifugal casting greatly increase. Computer simulation technique for mold filling and solidification processes of various castings be used, for optimizing technical project, saving research cycle and cost,it is valuable to enhance Titanium alloys centrifugal precision casting capacity of our country.Based on the full analysis for the characteristics and functions of the software LXCASM-3D for Windows developed by the Foundry Teaching and Research Section of HIT, which is for the simulation of casting solidification thermal transfer and mold filling. Revisions and further development were made on the software in order to meet the need for large and thin-wall castings; simulation mold filling and solidification heat transfer under both gravity and centrifugal force field conditions. This article enhance the capacity of the LXCASM-3D software Pre-processing module, dissected ten millions of mesh grids, then improved Post-processing module to show numeration results.This paper developed LXCASM-3D software system, besides increase centrifugal casting simulation system mesh grids number and implement compute in this situation then show the results with post module of software system, more works include: establish a function (name it"sensor") for recording the cooling curve of any place in cast; Compute modules and per modules also post modules of software system be more integrated; also introduced Pre-/Post-processing module of HuaZhu CAE that is most advanced in our country into software system, implement several kinds of coupling.
