Twin-Roll Casting Process is a frontier technology in the field of metallurgy and materials.The working principle is that The molten metal liquid Pouring The molten metal liquid into the molten pool,and the molten pool is consisting two opposite direction of rotation of the roll with the side seal.due to the effect of cooling and rolling of roller,Molten metal is rolled into A thin metal strip at very short time.So in Twin-RollCasting Process,the rate of heat output,the heat flux density in the process of casting process,the cooling speed of metal solution,the peak value of heat flux are higher than the traditional casting Process.So Twin-Roll Casting Process has a fast speed,short process,low energy consumption,cost reduction,etccompared with tthe traditional casting Process.And the fast speed can grain refinement,Reduce segregation,and can Improve the quality of the slab.In the casting process,roller plays the role of the mold and the rollerAt the same time,so the Timely cooling of the roller is the key to the whole casting rolling process.In the Twin-Roll Casting process of magnesium alloy,roller is the most important parts in the Twin-Roll Casting of magnesium alloy,Magnesium is a kind of metal which is easy to cause accidents,So the cooling is important in the casting process.the Twin-Roll Casting process of magnesium alloy is carried out under the cooling water.Therefore,the research on the influence of the cooling water temperature and the cooling water speed on the temperature field of the roller Can improve the understanding of casting rolling process.the ANSYS finite element software is used to simulate the temperature field distribution of the roller in the Twin-Roll Casting process of magnesium alloy.Through the temperature field distribution of the roller under different cooling water temperature and cooling water speed,It's concluded that Increasing the cooling water speed can reduce the theraml field of Casting-Roll,but this ability is weakened with the increase of cooling water speed;and The cooling water temperature has little influence on the theraml field of Casting-Roll.An external cooling system is designed to improve the cooling ability of the roller.The problem of insufficient cooling ability of the roller in the rapidly casting of magnesium alloy is made up.provide important reference for field work.
