High friction coefficient composited brakeshoe material was prepared after being hot-pressed at different temperatures with pressures of 10.5~11.5MPa and subsequently vulcanized, with a matrix material of multicomponent system blended with butyronitrile and styrene butadiene rubber modified phenol-formaldehyde resin, different reinforcing agents comprising of wollastonite fibers respectively blended with F typed low carbon steel fiber and zinc oxide fiber, fillings of barium sulfate, graphite, high aluminous soil, kaolin, iron powder and zinc oxide and a scale board of cold rolled sheet that meet the GB700-1988 standard specification. The mechanical properties and microstructures of the material were respectively studied with three point bending method and analytical manners such as SEM, and so on. At the same time, a detailed investigation about the braking performance of this high friction coefficient brakeshoe material was carried on the 1:3 and 1:1 test benches, on the basis of which vehicle test were carried out. The results show that High friction coefficient composited brakeshoe material cab be prepared by hot press compositing with a matrix material of modified phenol-formaldehyde resin, reinforcing agents comprising of wollastonite fibers, F typed low carbon steel fiber and zinc oxide fiber, fillings of barium sulfate, graphite, high aluminous soil, kaolin, iron powder and zinc oxide and a scale board of cold rolled sheet.SEM analysis indicate that the surfaces of this high friction coefficient brakeshoe material appear a certain roughness, many areas of which exist...
