At present, effect of ocean engineering on environment in Lianyungang Coastal area is environmental impact assessment for single project, the research on the effect of multi-ocean engineering on ocean water quality, sediment and biology has not been carried out so far. Based on a marine eco-environment investigation in Lianyungang coastal area on October, 2005, this thesis mainly discusses the environment status quo and the effect of coastal multi-engineering on ecologic environment.Study on the change of tidal current field shows that the exchange capability and the physical self-purification capacity of the water are weakened by the West Breakwater, water quality of the sea area near the alkali factory and the harbor is influenced. The result shows that water quality of nuclear power plant offshore area is the best, while the harbor offshore area is the worst, the whole water quality of the three offshore areas has been lightly polluted. The chief contamination of the harbor and nuclear power plant offshore area is active phosphate, followed by inorganic nitrogen and oil, the chief contamination of the alkali factory offshore area is inorganic nitrogen, next active phosphate and CODMn, heavy metal pollution in each area is relatively slight.Study on the sediment of Lianyungang offshore area shows that the size evolvement of sediment particle is related to the coastal engineering. Study on the sample of sediment pillar shows that the sediment rate of Lianyungang offshore area differs from each other, while the coastal engineering make the difference more serious, especially West Waterbreak, which aggravates the deposit. Study on the quality of sediment shows that the sedimentation of the silt of dredge up and the re- floated clay which...
