With the improvement of industrialization rhythms and urbanization levels, water pollution has become one of the major problems universally. It is an economical and efficient way to use High-Rate Anaerobic Reactor in sewage disposal, so many researchers have been making studies and explorations in this field.In this paper, through experiments of biological anaerobic treatment, we examined and determined the startup as well as the controls parameters in the stable operation of High-Rate Anaerobic Reactor. In addition, we analyzed the coagulation treatment of anaerobic effluent water, and also we explored the technical application of the technology in the treatment of domestic wastewater by using High-Rate Anaerobic Reactor together with efficient water purifier.Applying this technology in a certain company of Hebei Province, we treated per day 3 tons of domestic wastewater with the effluent COD 300- 400 mg/L and after the treatment, the effluent COD was lower than 50 mg/L. The COD removal rate arrived at 87.4%, which has reached the national required standard. It is shown by the economic effect analysis that the profit by water saving is 30, 000 yuan per year, the cost of water treatment 1.37 yuan per ton, and the net profit 9, 420 yuan per year.Researches have shown that this technology owns such advantages as stable operation, high cleaning efficiency, high-quality effluent water, simple process, small contain, little investment and low working costs. It has promising prospect for publicity and application, and it can bring about pretty good effects socially, environmentally and economically.
