Technical of computer aided formulation design and propellant formulation design method was studied.1) First of all, we concerned on two calculation methods of propel lant energy parameters: basic method and inner energy method. The relationship between propellant energy parameters and formulation was discussed, and a program for estimating energy parameters was developed.2) Second, for needs of optimizing propellant energy parameters, we built a formulation optimization math model based on multiple target optimization method. Relative factors in formulation design were researched. In this math model, propellant energy and explosive temperature were set as optimizing target, and content of components in formulation and some other restrains were set as constrain conditions.3) Furthermore, a propellant database management system was built for providing consultant information for formulator. The database management system contains five parts: user login, system administration, data management and information query.
