Research On The Synthesis Technics And Application Of Cyanuric Acid

In this paper, the ways for synthesizing cyanuric acid by solid and by liquid phase were compared. The result from experiments shows that the condition of pyrogenation reaction by using ammonium nitrate and sodium chloride in solid phase is mild, and the transgression of free ammonia is balanced, and it avoids causing blast and weakens the stick phenomenon. The experiments of the synthesizing cyanuric acid in liquid phase show that if dimethyl formamide (DMF) and dodecyal-benzene are used as solvent to synthesis cyanuric acid, the yield of cyanuric acid and the purity of product are higher than those in the solid phase. But the reaction process is long and the posterior disposal is complex. So the ammonium nitrate industry can adopt the solid phase synthesis.The tests show that cyanuric acid and ammonium hydrogen phosphate and other fertilizer can be used together to desensitize AN and this is an operational way. The temperature and activation energy of ammonium nitrate's pyrogenation are improved evidently. A great number of experiments of detonator initiating sensitivity of ammonium nitrate fuel oil (ANFO) explosives show the effect of changing AN's character is remarkable. The desensitive modification product is safe and tried.In order to achieve the continuous production, a reconstructive programmer has been put forward, and it needs further research to implement.
