Medicine marketing has aroused wide interests in various social fields for the past few years. With all kinds of contradictions floating onto the water, medicine marketing is asking for an imperative reform. Yet the present marketing mode is affected by the traditional marketing theory, and has not, with no question, considered the typical figures of the medicine profession, therefore a brand new reform is in need.DTC (direct to consumer) is the very kind of marketing applied in the American medicine market, whose expense has been rising each year from 1991. Considerable profits have been brought in US medicine enterprises, and favorable effects have shown out in the American social environment as well as the medicine system.In view of the success of DTC, information marketing, a kind of new mode, which fits into Chinese basic condition, is born. It has broken through the limits set by the traditional marketing, meanwhile associated with medicine profession characteristics. It takes information as the point of departure, claims the information publication, carries on the effective information management, and comes to purchase in the end.The paper is divided into five chapters as follows:Chapter â… : A brief introduction about the information marketing. Including the definition of information, detailed discussion on the characteristics of information marketing, and analysis of the value of information marketing (with two models in support of the idea).Chapter â…¡: Discussions on the American DTC marketing mode. Focusing on it's characteristics, it's effective influence on the American society, economic value, and the investigations on it's development carried out in other countries.Chapter â…¢: The research conducted to melt DTC into China's basic conditions.
