The project is aimed at that China coal mines have been mining the deep coal layers and is threatened by high temperature and heat harm. The paper is divided into two sections: mine air thermodynamic analysis and earth temperature prediction. Physical meaning of thermodynamic parameters in mine is summarized. Mathematical models of the thermodynamic parameters computation and interrelation of each other are studied. Observation on the spot is carried through. Observation data are calculated and analyzed. Thermodynamic variety rule of mine air from ground to working face and heat sources distribution are educed. The status of the heat sources is studied, quantity of heat which release is educed. Primary and secondary chart of heat sources is established. Primary heat sources are confirmed and fathered first. The way how to measure temperature with drill is introduced. The regulating ring of laneway temperature and the depth and temperature of constant temperature stratum are fixed on. According to earth temperature data, grads of earth temperature is figured out. The conception of economical air quantity of cooling through ventilation is brought forward and its mathematical model is deduced. On the base of the way of simulation laneway, economical exploitation depth is educed. The way how to forecast earth temperature and needful basic data to set up mathematical model are analyzed. For example of nineteenth coal seam of Panxi Coal Mine, detailed procedure to simulate earth temperature is studied. Isotherm chart of nineteenth coal seam floor is protracted then earth temperature is appraised. The system to comprehensive assessment on high temperature mine thermodynamic status and earth temperature is developed. Key technique, method of application, structural composition and primary function of the system are particularized. In order to guide next cooling work, heat harm control countermeasure and cooling suggest are put forward.
