The safety run of the coal winch is one of the key tache of the safety production of the coal mine, while the safety trig of the dish-brake of the winch is the most important factor deciding the safety running of the winch. The essay mainly discusses a kind of design and reality of the system monitoring safety working of the dish-brake of the coal winch. The system is comprised by a main device and sub-devices. The main device is comprised by a compute and a communication interface, and the sub-device is a signal collecting device in the core of AT89C52. The main device is commonly placed in the winch room or other watching rooms. It communicates with Sub-devices through the serial port with the mode of RS-485 bus, and the monitoring software is programmed by the visual higher level language of Visual Basic. The sub-device is placed near the disc-shaped brake in the winch room on the spot, it realizes collecting of measured signal, handling, storage, display, and communication. When the index is beyong the limit, it will produce the acousto-optics alarm. The sub-device has the key circuit. When the sensors is installed at the first time or the zero value is changed, we can set the zero by the key or by the command which the main device has send. The signals the sub-device collects include the disc-brake working clearance, the pressure pushing the dish-brake, the temperature of the lifting electrical machinery, lifting voltage and lifting current of the winch. Among it, the measurement of working clearance adopt the BWG3-5mm typed of the displacement of inductance adjusting frequency. The sensor's output is frequency signal, which improves the transmitting distance. The RPS131 typed porcelain pressing sensor is used to measure the flow press, and the measurement of voltage and current adopts WB series electric quantity isolation sensor. The collecting of temperature is realized by the digital temperature sensor. The sub-device displays all the signals on the spot with color Liquid Crystal Display (LCD), and sends the information to the main device. If warning, the color of the display will be changed to tell the worker. The monitoring interface of the main device can display two groups of information of the disc-shaped brake at the mean time. When warning, The component indicating alarm of the interface will change its color and produce sound alarm through the communication interface.
