Research On Mechanism And Performance Of Cyclone Separator

This paper detailedly introduced cyclone's basic components,separator theory, typical type ,application, performance's parameter and some major influential factors.Nowadays, the key research point of cyclone is to increase cyclone's collection efficiency and reduce cyclone's pressure loss. After investigation and analyzing current short circuit and bottom dust secondary flying problem, this subject's central work is to put forward a new idea and a creationary measure to solve these problems and improve cyclone's performance.During the research, numerical simulation and comparative experiment are two useful methods. After numerical simulation by use of Fluent software, this paper analyzed cyclone's inner current situation. And then, uniformity flow idea was brought forward and a specific method was also put forward. At last, this paper designed and manufactured a new type cyclone——Reverse Cyclone.According to the experiment's purpose, this paper assembled a set of simple experimental system. The result of numerical simulation and comparative experiment proved that the new idea is right and Reverse Cyclone is a new successful cyclone.
