In this paper the characteristic of three kinds of main yarn sizes are introduced in detail, including starch size, acrylic acid size and Polyvinyl Alcohol size (PVA) used in textile industry. At the same time it also introduces nanoparticle technology, fantastic performances of nanoparticle materials, nanoparticle application, especially applied things of nanoparticle material in textile industry. At the same time structure, characteristic and application of nanoparticle silicon dioxide (SiO2) in textile are presented in detail. By experiments that nanoparticle silicon dioxide (SiO2) is dispersed in pure water, we discussed the factors such as PH value,dispersion density etc. That affects dispersion effect of nanoparticle silicon dioxide (SiO2) in water. By a series of experiments we have obtained the better test conditions that nanoparticle silicon dioxide (SiO2) is well dispersed in water.We projected different test ways according to sizing need. We adopted single metamorphic starch or size mixture of single metamorphic starch added to disperse suspend liquid of nanoparticle silicon dioxide (SiO2) on that condition that nanoparticle silicon dioxide (SiO2) is better dispersed in water. We have researched the performances of sizes and size films on nanoparticle silicon dioxide (SiO2) to single metamorphic starch or size mixture between single metamorphic starch and nanoparticle silicon dioxide (SiO2) by experiments.According to the tests of size and size film added different nanoparticle silicon dioxide (SiO2), we gain experiment results as follow:Nanoparticle silicon dioxide (SiO2) not only can better faces structure of size films of single starch or size mixture between single metamorphic starch and nanoparticle silicon dioxide (SiO2), but also enhance intensity and wearable performance of size films.We have found nanoparticle silicon dioxide (SiO2) can better the performances of single starch. Consequently, it is provided with the possibility and methods to study environmentally green sizes to substitute for pollution sizes from practical application.
