Disc swirl spinning is a new-type non open-end spinning process. It makes use of jet air to process fibers in order to resolve the matters in air-jet spinning. It substitutes roller drafting system with combing roller drafting system, which ensures that the drafting system of disc swirl spinning has the advantages of high drafting speed, high drafting efficiency, little abrasion, and etc.Conducting tube is an important part of the disc swirl spinning system. It is placed between the drafting mechanism and the condensing mechanism, and its function is to deliver,separate and card fiber in the process of spinning. In order to produce a fiber force to strength fibers, the current speed gradient of the fiber must be positive, which means that the across-section area should be growing smaller,and the reducing pipe is used in this paper. Because of the certain shape of the joints of the drafting mechanism end face and the condensing mechanism interface, the interface and end face of the conducting tube are rectangles. And it is found that the shape is feasible in the former studies. But the effect of the conducting tube shape and size on the fiber in the spinning is obvious, and affect the disc swirl spun yarn's quality.This paper is a part of the study on the disc swirl spinning system, the optimize design of the conducting tube and the effect of the parameters of disc swirl spinning on spinning quality were studied. The relation between conducting tube's shape and size and spinning quality was analysed, and the effect of the parameters of disc swirl spinning on spinning quality was discussed. The scope of the conducting tube's shape and size was concluded and the scope of the parameter was made certain integratedly.
