Barium calcium sulphoaluminate is the main mineral of Ba bearing sulphoaluminate cement which has high early strength. It is researched by many scientists. Results indicate that the compressive strength of C2.75B1.25A3S is the highest. The production cost of Ba bearing sulphoaluminate cement is still high in nowadays, one of the mostly reason is the price of the aluminum bauxite is expensive. Hence, in order to improve performance and reduce the cost, this research will study the Ba bearing sulphoaluminate cement further. The Ba-bearing calcium sulfo-ferritealuminate series of new cement minerals are synthesized by a different equivalent of Fe3+ replaceing for Al3+.The structure, composition and the burning mechanism of Ba-bearing calcium sulfo-ferritealuminate have been studied in this research. The best burning temperature of Ba-bearing calcium sulfo-ferritealuminate were researched by orthogonal test. The influence of CaF2 on composition and performance of Ba-bearing calcium sulfo-ferritealuminate has also studied in this paper. With the help of XRD, DTA-TG, SEM-EDS, the physical performance of the clinker of Ba-bearing calcium sulfo- ferritealuminate were studied.Compared with the analysis of compressive strength, XRD,SEM-EDS and DTA-TG, indicating that the optimal substitute quantity of Fe3+ is 0.25 about the clinker of Ba-bearing calcium sulfo-ferritealuminate(C2.75B1.25A3-xFex S ). The molecular formula is C2.75B1.25A2.75Fe0.25 S . The 1d, 3d and 28d net paste compressive strength of C2.75B1.25A2.75Fe0.25 S are 49.8, 64.4 and 90MPa respectively. The influence of Ba2+, Fe3+ and burning temperature on C2.75B1.25A2.75Fe0.25 S were studied by orthogonal test. The result of this experiment shows that the best composition is C2.75B1.25A2.75Fe0.25 S and the best burning temperature is 1250℃. Mixing CaF2 into the Ba-bearing calcium sulfo-ferritealuminate can reduce the burning temperature, improve the quality and reduce the cost. When the burning temperature is 1200℃, the optimum proportion of CaF2 in the raw materials is 0.4%. At the optimum level, the 1d, 3d and 28d net paste compressive strength are 31, 72 and 90MPa. when the burning temperature is 1250℃, the 1d net paste compressive strength rises evidently with the proportion of CaF2 increase. The best compressive strength of 1d net paste is 66.83MPa when the proportion of CaF2 is 2%. The XRD proved that mixing CaF2 can accelerate the formation of Ba-bearing calcium sulfo-ferritealuminate, and the effect is evident. In the end, we confirmed the best molar...
