Rock bolting has already been widely used in home and abroad, and the application result is very good, but the relative theories are rather behindhand, far from satisfying actual demand. The existing rock bolting theories is built on the base of some assumption;none of them can be popularized.Exploitation depth is increasing nowadays, which makes tunnels more and more difficult to support. Analytic solution and analogy simulation can never be the main approach to solve most of the engineering problems. Attention must be paid to numerical simulation.Firstly, stress of primary rock is simulated factually, also performance of rock mass is obtained according to the Hoek-Brown rock mass failure criterion and foregone test result Based on the concorded result, lots of 3D-FEM that contain "rebar" elements are built to dynamicly simulate the excavation process and function of bolt of tunnels built in soft rock that is heavily stressed. Simulating result reflected development of stress field and strain field during the excavation process. Support effect in different support conditon is analyzed detailedly. Proceed to the next step, the reasonable support parameteris gotten.
