Coal (rock) and gas outburst is one of intense natural disaster, is also a complicated and dynamical phenomenon, caused by stress, gas pressure of coal bed as well as coal structure. During the process of shaft excavation, especially in threading coal formation which have outburst tendency, coal (rock) and gas outburst bring much difficulty to coal mine. Adopting theory analysis combined spot experiment to study the dynamical phenomenon coal (rock) and gas outburst during the process of shaft excavation.Based on the analysis to mechanism of coal (rock) and gas outburst in shaft, designing new catastrophe potential function and applying catastrophe theory to explaining the process of coal (rock) and gas outburst based on the safety Mechanical condition of coal (rock) and gas outburst. The purpose of this part is to catch some new academic gist for the forecast and avoid of the coal and gas outburst. The excavation plane of ZhangBei shaft is selected as the object of study. RFPA software is applied to qualitatively analyze the status of its original rock stress. It provides academic evidence for setting down effective and reasonable measures to prevent and cure coal (rock) and gas outburst in shaft excavation.Based on actual collected adequately, combining with the data from experiment, referring the index of coal and gas outburst, the paper study the danger of coal and gas outburst in ZhangBei air return-shaft.The research result has very important meaning to guide the safety in production of mine, reduce the loss of dynamical phenomena of coal (rock) and gas in mine and increase the total benefit of mine.Figure [60] Table [13] Reference[34]...
