Application And Research On Assessment Of Ability For Urban Fire Disaster Reduction

With the evolution of modernization progress and the elevation of sustainable development request for society, economy, and environment etc, people pay more and more attention to the management of fire disaster reduction. City, as the undertaker of disasters, has become the research key point of fire disaster reduction all over the world increasingly. The article is focusing on Assessment of Ability for Urban Fire Disaster Reduction from view of disaster-prevention, which is consisted of these parts below:Firstly, the article summarizes the feature of urban fire and introduces the conception of fire disaster and urban sustainable development. Urban fire disaster is analyzed between fire hazard and urban damage. It is found out the reason which urban fire disaster is different in different city. And the connection of fire disaster and urban sustainable development is explicated.Secondly, with the systematizing analysis to urban fire disaster, we demonstrate major influencing factors of urban fire disaster. The gray incidence analysis method is applied to reveal the relations between urban fire disaster and influencing factors.Thirdly, based on the research to urban fire disaster, it studies each component and concrete indexes which affect the ability of urban fire disaster reduction. A framework to evaluate the ability of urban fire disaster reduction is proposed. Also, the method of how to admeasuring every index is put forward as well the equation of how to calculating the final evaluation.Finally, the article takes Qingdao as an example, and analyzes the Qingdao's fire disaster condition, evaluates the ability of its fire disaster reduction. According to the evaluation result, some suggestion which improve the ability of Qingdao's fire disaster reduction is supplied.
