The outburst of coal and gas is one kind of very complex power phenomena in colliery, and it is one severe nature hazard to producing coal safely. The paper researches the character of gas, the character of coal seam construction and the character of outburst of coal and gas by the numbers in Sang Shu-ping colliery. Uses the way of combination from outburst region to outburst belt and to outburst point, instructed on the viewpoint of gas geology, based on the research of coal and gas'outburst main factor, region prediction, Predicts outburst danger zone of 3# coal seam in researching region adopting the exponent way of connatural block sect terrace, and educes there is 5 outburst danger zones, 1 outburst menace zone and 1 safe zone. On the base of predicting outburst danger zone, predicts the outburst danger belt with electrical wireless CT on the 4217, with absolute attenuation layer explanation, finds 6 block abnormity belts, all these affected mostly by change of coal seam structure and thickness, and they belong to the danger zones of the outburst. Based on a great of number collected by many kinds means in sub mine, through count stat and compute processing data, analysis the sensitive index of outburst point prediction on excavating surface ,considers that sensitive index of predicting outburst point in research region is K1 index. Assuring un-outburst rate equal to 95%, draws conclusion that the critic value of Kl outburst sensitive index in research region is 0.75ml/g*min1/2. The research result depicted above is important applying merit to develop the work on prevention and cure of coal and gas in Sang Shu-ping.
