Polyvinyl acetate(PVAc) emulsion are widely used in the field of coating and adhesive .With the development of economy ,its usage will be substantially increased. But its coating has poor performance in water resistance.alkali resistance and so on. Based on research and production status of polyvinyl acetate emulsion in our country, organosilicone and VeovalO were used as comonomers in polyvinyl acetate emulsion by chemical ways ,in order to get Organosilicone-Veova10- VAc copolymer emulsion with high performance in the thesis.During the experiment process, using vinyl acetate, organosilicone and Veova10 as comonomers,with composite initiator system of heat initiator and redox initiators,nonionic and anionic surfactants acting as emulsifiers. Organosilicone -VeovalO- VAc copolymer emulsion with high performances is developed. The effect of many factors on performances of emulsion and film is discussed, such as comonomer composition , polymerization temperature, initiator content, emulsifier species and content. Further more, Organosilicone-Veova10- VAc copolymer emulsion with higher viscosity is synthesized with polyacrylamide and polyethylene glycol used as protective colloid,which can be used as adhesive with water resistance .The effect of many factors on performances of emulsion and film is discussed, such as comonomer composition , polymerization temperature, initiator content, organosilicone content.Experimental results show that the viscosity of organosilicone-Veova10-VAc copolymer increased biggishly.Film performances in water resistance,chemical resistance and heat resistance increase greatly.
