Organosilane protective reagents can protect unsaturated bonds, hydroxyl, carboxyl, carbonyl, amino and other functional groups. The sterically hinderedOrganosilane protective agents have some special advantages.In the paper , via Grinard method, synthesized two sterically hindered Organosilane protective agents: phenyldimethylchlorosilane and tert-butyldimethyl-chlorosilane. Through the study we find out: CuCN as catalyst,both protective reagents can get a good yield,the reaction condition optimized in the paper.The structure of the productions were token by IR, MS.Organosilane protective reagents widely used in the organic synthesis,especially in the synthesis of medicine, pesticide and savageness production.In the paper , semi-synthesize simvastatin by phenyldimethylchlorosilane and tert-butyldimethyl-chlorosilane,The effect of protect hydroxyl indicate: both of them can protect hydroxyl well. The structure of target production was identified by IR, 1HNMR,MS, UV.
