Kaolinite clay consists of one tetrahedral silica sheet and one octahedral alumina sheet. It is an important industrial raw material having widespread applications. Parameters such as surface area, brightness, cry stall inity, and particle size appear to be important factors controlling the technical applicability of kaolinite. In the thesis, it was to prepare delaminated kaolinite and adsorb azodicarbonamide (AC) to layers of delaminated kaolinite. A process for preparing of the delaminated kaolinite was developed with intercalation of the chemical assistants followed by removing them. A series of application researches have been carried out. The research contents and results are shown in the following.1. The intercalated composites of Kaolinite were prepared by the intercalation with urea, hydrazine and potassium acetate. The composite was characterized by powder X-ray diffraction , IR and Solid-NMR, and the results showed that kaolinite was intercalated by the chemical assistants. Then the chemical assistants in the layers were removed by...
