Statistical process control (SPC) technology is used in extrusion to improve the precision of products and the stability of extrusive process. The questions can be found and solved before loss happened, which include the time of maintenance and the waste of material. Extrusion can be controlled by SPC in advance.Two pieces of work will be finished for the Extrusion Process SPC system, one is that investigations in characters of extrusive process decide which method can be used in Extrusion Process SPC system; the other is that Extrusion Process SPC system is designed and fulfill the need of control in advanceThe continuity of extrusive characters decides that variables control charts fit the need of extrusion process. Many kinds of undulation in extrusion effect the applications of statistical process control in extrusion process.
