The Prepartion Of Ath/Nylon-6 Nanocomposites

Nylon-6(PA6) has been widely used because of its excellent properties such as mechanical strength, tenacity, corrosion proof etc, and Nano Al(OH)₃(CG-ATH), is a widely using synthetic inorganic filler. In this research Nano CG-ATH was selected to add into nylon-6 with other additives in the respect of making excellent flame retardant ATH/nylon-6 nanocomposites.This article researched the surface treatment of the Nano CG-ATH. The surface modified Nano CG-ATH was added to nylon-6, and then impact experiment and extension experiment were carried out with test sample to estimate the influence of the surface modified Nano CG-ATH to the mechanical properties of PA6, through which a suitable modifier and the surface treatment condition can be determined.The next research of this article was the composing of flame retardant composites.
