Plastic Pipes had considerably enhanced hoop strength, impact strength and resistance to fatigue from cyclic pressure by biaxially orientation. There would be more interests in the technique in the future. At present, there had been industry-scale processing Equipments in the foreign country, but in our country it was still at the laboratory study stage. This research introduced a hop-pocket expansion technique and presents a new industrial processing equipment of biaxially drawing UPVC pipes (including reheat equipment, motion control unit, expansion equipment, draught equipment, cool equipment). The process of the preparation consisted of :(l)By the comparison of these orientation techniques of plastic pipe inside and outside, the author did biaxially oriented experiments to research the feasibility of the technique. This paper lucubrated the self-reinforcement mechanism of polymer material biaxially oriented.
