Study On Hazardous Waste Classification Management Index

In the last few years, with the rapid development of social economy and living level, more and more hazardous wastes are produced. Hazardous wastes cause serious impact and potential hazard on human health and ecological environment. Hazardous wastes management has been focused on all over the world.Different amount of and different active hazardous wastes cause different environment risk. Therefore, it isn't scientific to manage all wastes by the same management method. Hazardous wastes should be managed on principles of discrimination and classification and on the basis of different characteristics and hazards, namely, strict control and management emphases should be conducted for seriously harmful hazardous wastes, while loose request for relatively less harmful hazardous wastes. Thus not only can management cost be economized, but also may pollution to environment and hazard to human be reduced.On the basis of knowing the present situation of hazardous wastes management by consulting large numbers of foreign information, this dissertation analyzes the problems existent in hazardous wastes management and its classification management methods and brings forward hazard risk classification for hazardous wastes resort to risk assessment aiming at national present situation of hazardous wastes management. Toxic and explosive hazardous wastes classification standards are put forward by consulting relative national standards.
